Living in Gimhae, South Korea teaching English at GS Academy.
Finished my 72 hour comic
Organized art exhibition called “Wayguks: The Art of the Foreigner”
My art appeared in the exhibitions “Transition”, “Daybreak”, and the Daybreak ‘Year of the Rooster’ calendar.
Slept in a lighthouse.
Raised several hundred dollars for tsunami relief by selling copies of my book Cartoon Coup.
February
Started doing Welton Colbert comics for Comixpedia
Went to Thailand for six days to help with Tsunami cleanup.
Dug 2 toilets in refugee camps.
Had so much fun, I went back to Korea and quit my job.
March
Survived an earthquake in Korea
Started illustrating a comic for the soon to be released magazine “Squid and Ink”, based on a title suggested by Neil Gaiman
Exhibited my comics at at ComicWorld Seoul
April
Went back to Thailand, moved onto Phi Phi Island
Helped build and run the Banyan Tree Kids Club, giving young tsunami victims a place to play.
Took part in 24 hour comic day
May
Went to Kuala Lumpur, taught a kitten how to hunt and sicked Lonely Planet on a racist hostel owner.
Rode across Thailand on a motorbike. Explored the jungle.
Accidentally was illegal immigrant in Burma for an hour.
Storyboarded the film “Walking Against the Wind”
June
Went to Cambodia, gave blood at children’s hospital.
My work appeared in comic shops for the first time, in Licensable BearTM Issue 2
Painted a giant mural in Thailand
July
Was art director for Webcartoonists Choice Awards online ceremony
Interviewed by Digital Strips
Met all of my webcomicin’ heroes at SanDiego ComicCon
Went home for the first time in over a year
August
Did a 175 Hour Comic
Rebuilt my website from scratch
Released my new book, Ped X-ing
My site hit 10,000 visitors for the first time (up from average 70 hits a day)

Took part in the Webcomic Telethon
Went to SPX and hung out with a whole bunch of crazy awesome artists

Started the wacky new comics collective The Ryans
Started doing 24-hour comics for hire
Started doing Joseph James Gilette for Graphic Smash
Accepted to be in Flight
Picked a fight with Jack Thompson

Moved to India to be a quality analyst for Citibank.
Had a Thanksgiving pizza party with dozens of homeless families
Started my comic Aki Alliance for GirlAMatic

Working on quasi-secret comics that will show up on the 2006 year in review!
Man, this was an awesome year. 2006 is gonna be even awesomer.
