I’m working on a new comic, solely for Korean audiences. I’ve wanted to do this little experiment for years. I can never translate these comics for you guys, because every panel and every line is so specific to Korean language and culture that I could never explain any of the jokes. 

I’m making 2 series, Michingu, which is all new comics featuring the 3 kids above, and ManHwaJangShil, which is full of my existing comics.

I haven’t even finished a single page yet, and I already have someone with a national touring company who wants to produce a play based on the comic.

Because of the aforementioned problems with translating stories between cultures, for many of the comics in the second book, I’m not even doing translations… just whiting out the word panels and letting other people fill in their own stories (Whispered Apologizing)
