The anthology Failure To Launch: A Tour of Ill-Fated Futures was about predictions from the past that never came to be. I was fascinated by the story of the argument a wealthy patent troll and a tech-hacking musician had in the 1920s over whose vision of the future would come to pass. I teamed up with illustrator Aarón Cruz to tell the tale.
